Financiers project risk monitoring is best described as the identification, evaluation and mitigation of the risks associated with the development process. For example, the risks to a lender of finance that is to be used for development or investment.

At Beacon Consulting we split our service into two distinct parts. Firstly, an Initial Appraisal of the project is carried out. This involves examining all the information for the project and arriving at an independent assessment. Our reports include a schedule of risk items to be addressed and a series of independent recommendations for action by the funder prior to finalizing the facility or committing to any drawdowns.

The second part of the service is the monitoring of the development. We report on the cost to complete and a realistic assessment of ability to complete on time, as well as any other issues that may have a adverse risk to the project financier. Our reports are based on detailed cost information and a physical assessment of the construction on site and include detailed action lists for all project participants.
