Our History
Formed to be World Class
Beacon Consulting was formed in 2007 by Greg McDonald AAIQS in response to his vision to provide a world class project management, quantity surveying and cost management service throughout the whole of Queensland with a focus on being truly the most informed and accurate cost management firm in Queensland.
Commencing operations in Cairns we initially delivered projects throughout North Queensland including Cairns, Townsville, West Queensland, north to Torres Strait Islands and beyond Australia to Papua New Guinea. In 2010, with increasing demand for our expertise we expanded to open offices in Brisbane and Townsville to ensure greater personal service delivery to clients in these regions.
2011 saw our service offering grow to encompass Building Surveying, Certification and Approvals and Disability Access Consulting services with our merger with Cairns based firm Code Blue Certifications. This business unit is headed up by Rodney Byl AAIBS who was a previous Director with Code Blue Certifications.
