Project Scope

This project included the design and construction of 67 luxury apartments together with boutique hotel, commercial space for Cafés, restaurants and small bars. This 5 storey development in North Fremantle includes a full basement car-park and achieves an average 6.5 stars under the Nationwide House Energy rating Scheme.

Budget and Program

The budget for the project was A$56M. Construction commenced in November 2008 and was completed in late 2010.

Beacon Consulting team members and their role

Rodney Byl MAIBS was the consultant engaged by the City of Fremantle to undertake a comprehensive BCA analysis, liaising with Mirvac design team and prepare all approval documentation.

Scope of consultancy services provided

Rodney undertook a BCA assessment of the entire project and liaised with the design team to ensure project was designed and approved in accordance with the BCA.
