Djarragun College Medical Centre, Gordonvale

Project Scope

This project comprised a new medical centre comprising consulting rooms for visiting doctors and nursing staff as well as waiting rooms, sick bays and an ambulance drop-off area.

With a gross floor area of 168m2 this complex little project was delivered within 1% of our pre-tender cost plan.

Budget and Program

The budget for the project was A$430K. Construction was completed in November 2008 and was delivered by Greg McDonald on Budget.

Consultant team members and their role

Greg McDonald (Director) was the Cost Planner during from initial inception of the project and BGA funding stage, throughout design development phase and Post Contract Quantity Surveyor engaged by the Client during the construction phase of the building works.  Greg delivered the project within the budget constraints set aside by the school.

Scope of consultancy services provided

Our Directors provided initial project concept costing advice and assisted in preparing the budgets for submission to the BGA for funding of the project.  During the design phase we provided full cost planning and estimating services and also provide post contract services including variation assessment during the construction phase.
