Project Scope

Consisting of 39 two and three bedroom apartments spaciously spread over three contemporary style buildings. Just 2 km from the Cairns Esplanade and a five minute drive from Cairns Central.

The project also features a basement car park and a resort style pool and BBQ area, surrounded by a lush tropical landscape.

Budget and Program

The budget for the project was A$8M. Construction was completed in December 2007 and was delivered by Greg McDonald on Budget.

Consultant team members and their role

Greg McDonald (Director) was the Cost Planner during from initial inception of the project, throughout design development phase and Post Contract Quantity Surveyor engaged by the Client and the Financier.  Greg delivered the project within the budget constraints set aside by developer and financier.

Scope of consultancy services provided

Greg McDonald provided initial project concept costing advice and assisted in preparing the budgets for funding of the project.  During the design and construction phases we provided full cost planning and estimating services and also provided financiers monitoring.
